COVID-19 Office Updates

 

We at the Walsh Health and Wellness Centre understand the growing concern with COVID-19, and we are currently open, operating reduced business hours (please see additional information below regarding each service and provider). 

 

Due to reduced hours and limited staff, we kindly ask, if at all possible, for communication to be done via email as we are able to respond to emails outside of our office hours.  You can reach us through the contact page above, or by emailing [email protected].

 

PLEASE DO NOT MAKE ANY UNSCHEDULED VISITS TO THE OFFICE.

Resuming In-Person Appointments starting Monday June 15.

 Monday: 9:30pm to 5:30pm

Wednesday: 9:30am to 5:30pm

Please note the following:

  • 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment, you will receive two emails, a reminder with additional instructions for entering the building and patient requirements, the second is a mandatory patient screening survey

  • Physiotherapy patients will enter through the back of the building. Please park in our rear parking lot, access off of Paulander Drive.

  • Please wait in your vehicle for a call from Jillian before entering the building. If we do not have your cell number on file, please provide the office with that information prior to your appointment.

  • A mask isrequired during your appointment.

  • Please bring a clean pair of indoor shoes, or socks. Outdoor shoes and bare-feet are not permitted in the physio gym

  • Please come appropriately dressed for your session.

  • We will discuss revised payment options upon arrival 

 

MASSAGE THERAPY:

Victoria Guerra:

         Monday: 9:15am to 3:00pm

 With this, there are additional steps and procedures in place to help keep our staff and patients safe

 

Please note the following:

  • please do not enter the building more that 5 minutes before your scheduled time

  • please sanitize your hands upon entry

  • massage patients are required to wear a mask during treatment

  • waiting area for massage patients will be upstairs, please choose the designated waiting area for your provider

  • please do not knock on their door

  • max. occupancy for massage rooms is 2 (you and your RMT), if assistance is required, family is permitted before and after treatment, but must wait in designated waiting area or personal vehicle.

  • physical distance and cleaning measures are in place to help keep everyone safe

  • we have disabled online booking for massage until we are able to resume regular practice as priority for urgent care is in place, and additional time requirements for cleaning and patient flow.

    You may be contacted to make adjustments to existing appointments as per new protocol and procedure.

 

If you are coming into the office, it is important to note the following:

  

  • you and all members of your household have been well, no illness, flu, cough, or flu-like symptoms, no matter how minor
  • you and all members of your household have not been travelling or in direct contact with someone who has
  • you and all members of your household have not been in contact with any individual who has tested positive for COVID-19
  • your health history is not categorized as “at risk” or have a compromised immune system

 

If you fall into any of the above categories, it is imperative we postpone any upcoming appointments.

 

We have taken additional measures to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our staff and patients and we ask you to do the same. To help assist us with patient flow and maintaining physical distancing, we ask patients for chiropractic to only enter the building for your scheduled time, massage patients able to enter up-to 5 minutes early. If you arrive early to your appointment, please wait in your personal vehicle to eliminate waiting in common spaces.  If you must wait in our waiting room, please select an unmarked chair as noted for physical distancing.

 

Instructions for patients entering the building will be provided to you the day prior to your appointment, as procedures continue to change regularly.
